Good point form (second to Supreme hope Asterion Forlonge) and bumped into the very useful Envoi Allen and Cobbler's Way when fourth in a couple of bumpers in December 2018. Seemed to improve for a year off when beating a talented Gordon Elliott-trained runner in a bumper, before making an instant impact over hurdles. The fitting of a tongue-tie seemed to bring about the improvement and although he got stuffed last time, that was in a much better race than this. The yielding ground might have also been against him in the Grade 1 contest that day and softer conditions will help this time around.

GOOD THING

(4.33 Sedgefield)

Winless in 13 starts but has run a couple of nice races recently, most notably last time when tipped in this column, and should have no problem winning off this mark. Connections have seemed to find his trip and he has run much better at Catterick the last twice. Hopefully he can transfer his form to Sedgefield as this looks a golden opportunity to finally get off the mark.
