Casablanca Mix (1.02 Market Rasen)

Extremely consistent eight-year-old mare who will seek her tenth career victory on her 27th start in this 3m Listed contest. Second in this race in 2018 when she lost a shoe, Casablanca Mix recorded a three-timer between May and December last year and although she disappointed on her final start of the campaign when fourth behind Lady Buttons at Doncaster, she returned in fine form at Chepstow last month. Casablanca Mix was 11 lengths down jumping the last but eroded that deficit towards the line and will be suited by the step back up in trip.

EYECATCHER

(1.37 Market Rasen)

Kim Bailey has started the season in blistering form, recording nine winners in the last two weeks (29 per cent strike-rate), and he can enhance that impressive statistic with this unexposed mare. Subway Surf has had just six starts in her career and returns after a 294-day layoff, but has gone well fresh in the past and fences should be the making of her. A mark of 115 looks fair given her bumper form and although I don't like backing horses first time back after wind surgery, her forecast price is too enticing.
