The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Saturday afternoon
BANKER
Extremely talented hurdler who relishes testing conditions and has been primed for a crack at this prize. A small field of just four runners suits him and although there are some decent rivals in opposition, he can make all in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle trial without much fuss. Conditions have to be a concern for market rival Edwardstone, while Stolen Silver and Snookered need to show more to feature.
GOOD THING
Magic Of Light (1.50 Ascot)
Jessica Harrington-trained nine-year-old mare who plundered this prize last year with success by three lengths and a quarter despite pulling hard throughout the early stages. She came into the race 12 months ago on the back of a Newbury victory and it's much the same this time around after a 99-length score in December. This will have been her target and it's hard to see her being beat despite the fact she gives weight away all round.
