The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Saturday afternoon
BANKER
Andrew Balding has had an exceptional season and it can get better if Koy Koy builds on the promise he showed at Salisbury and Ascot on his first two starts. The son of Acclamation showed signs of inexperience on debut but finished his race off nicely, and backed that up with a solid second behind long odds-on favourite Saga last time. He travelled like the best horse in the race that day and this rates an easier assignment.
DARK HORSE
Although he has had just four runs, Maglev is already heading towards the top of my cliff horse list. He was extremely impressive when breaking his maiden at the second attempt at Yarmouth, beating the 86-rated Home City and 93-rated Manaccan in the process, and should have followed up at Chester but suffered trouble in running. Maglev again looked the most likely winner when last seen at York but was run down after he made a sustained challenge to hit the front. However, eventual winner Harrow subsequently plundered a big sales race, thus giving the form serious substance. Although he steps up to Group 2 level, he doesn't have too much to find on ratings.
