With plenty of firms paying out the first five or six home in the Lanzarote Hurdle, it would be folly to ignore the race from an each-way perspective. Although he's the veteran of the party at 11, Hunters Call has proven before that he is at his best in big-field handicaps on flat, right-handed tracks and I would be astounded if this wasn't his seasonal target. Olly Murphy adores this hurdler and his two most recent efforts (travelled strongly in both) indicate that he still has a big day in him.

Eton College(2.34 Chelmsford)

Mark Johnston's all-weather string is firing at a 39 per cent strike-rate in the last two weeks and he can enhance that impressive stat when Eton College lines up for this 7f handicap. A dual winner at two and victor of a Leicester handicap off a long layoff last year, Eton College is bred to be best-suited to the all-weather and remains unexposed in this sphere. His mark of 88 is workable and following a quiet prep run, he's fancied to notch a fourth career success.
