His form last season stacks up well in this company and although he's off a career-high mark, he can come out on top in this field.

I'm going to give one last chance to this Mark Johnston-trained three-year-old, who I have backed the last twice only to see him disappoint. He might have bumped into a smart one at Goodwood on his penultimate run, though, and although excuses are harder to find for his latest last-placed finish, Johnston's horses can bounce back when conditions are right and the step back up in trip may help. Glenties has been dropped 1lb by the handicapper and will hopefully get off the mark at the seventh attempt.
