The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Friday afternoon

BANKER

(6.25 Newbury)

I like Alan King's Aweedram moving forward this season, but he might have his work cut out to stick with the race-fit Moll Davis. George Scott's topweight was one of the easiest winners of the season last year when she sauntered to victory over 1m2f at Doncaster in August off a mark of 81. She struggled in Listed company on her final two starts of the year before catching the eye on her return at Newcastle last week. There was no room at the inn for much of the straight yet Moll Davis wasn't beaten far at the line and can surely make amends.

EYECATCHER

Cedar Cage (2.45 Kempton)

There are a number of top trainers represented in this three-year-old handicap which is full of unexposed and improving horses, the most interesting of which is Cedar Cage. Sir Mark Prescott's gelded son of Golden Horn had three quickfire runs over 7f on the all-weather in the autumn and showed a good level of form, winning on his final start at Southwell. That trip was clearly the minimum for Cedar Cage and he steps up half a mile on his handicap debut in true Prescott fashion. A mark of 80 could easily underestimate him.
