Dual winning pointer in Ireland who hasn't progressed as expected since racing under rules for Rebecca Curtis and is currently winless in eight starts. His tendency to make mistakes at the obstacles, whether they are hurdles or fences, hasn't helped and he will need to tidy up in that department if he is to win. However, he ran really respectably in a number of novice/maiden hurdles last season – performances that should see him obliterate a field of this nature – and was rather consistent on the whole. His chase career is yet to take off and he's been stuffed in three starts in this sphere (beaten a total of 97 lengths), but he has fallen 8lb in the weights and would be extremely dangerous if putting it all together over this longer trip.
