Ran a promising race that day, beaten just three-and-a-half lengths by subsequent winner Induno, and the form was also boosted by the runner-up (twice) and the sixth winning since. He was off for 74 days after that before running deplorably at Exeter, an effort that clearly wasn't a proper performance, and it wouldn't be a shock if something was amiss that day as he's been off for the last two months. Makes his hurdling debut here with Richard Johnson booked and he can put it up to odds-on favourite Jack Valentine.
