A decisive winner of this race last year off a mark of 91, Furzig is back to try and repeat the feat after just sneaking into the top of the weights off 6lb higher. The Richard Fahey-trained five-year-old has hinted that he's ready to record a sixth career victory after three placed efforts and the assistance of super 7lb claimer Laura Pearson should enable him to do just that. His good draw in stall two is yet another positive and although Oslo rates a danger, Furzig can make his class tell.
