Receiving weight from most of his rivals, Sparkleandshine is set for a career-best season now that he tackles the bigger obstacles, although he didn't run without promise over hurdles in the spring when finishing third and fifth in two starts. He's a strong traveller who will appreciate the good ground and can notch his second victory from six starts under rules.
