Lightly raced eight-year-old who still holds his novice chaser status despite having a season under his belt. Ravenhill Road looked all over the winner of this race 12 months ago but was picked up by two rivals after the last fence and it was subsequently reported that he bled from the nose. He didn't win on either of his two other efforts last year (one of which came in a Grade 2) but returned to action for new trainer Sue Smith with a fine runner-up effort behind Good Boy Bobby at Wetherby and will be primed for this. It's a pretty decent contest but I'm confident Ravenhill Road will go close at a track he runs well.
