The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tip on Monday afternoon
BANKER
Midnight Shadow(2.30 Carlisle)
This is an exciting Graduation Chase, especially given three of the six runners are far from easy to settle in the early stages. Djingle, Louis' Vac Pouch and Hell's Kitchen often race with exuberance and none of them are overly trustworthy, especially the latter who is forecast to go off a ridiculously short price. Hell's Kitchen was tackling Grade 1 company last season and he should find this much easier, but he doesn't have a great record fresh and his jumping was far from fluent last year. Midnight Shadow looks the bet in the race. Sue Smith's horses have all needed their first run back and Midnight Shadow confirmed that when third on his reappearance at Carlisle. He was beaten by smart sorts Brewin'Upastorm and Good Boy Bobby that day and was far from disgraced 16 lengths back. He jumped well, which is a big plus, and although this trip is short of ideal, he should have the race set up for him.
