The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tip on Monday afternoon
BANKER
Gleno(3.30 Plumpton)
This looks a pretty weak staying handicap chase and although a case can be made for both Bill And Barn and Ask The Weatherman, Gleno has by far the strongest claims for Gary and Josh Moore. This eight-year-old was extremely lightly raced until last campaign, when he recorded three handicap hurdle successes from eight outings. His chasing career is yet to take off this season but Gleno has run against some talented horses and had little chance on his first three outings. Gleno's clear standout this season came on his penultimate outing when second to subsequent Sussex National winner Christmas In April at Fontwell (third Tea Time On Mars has also won since) and a reproduction of that would see him land this prize. He was far from disgraced last time either and this course, trip and ground should pose few problems.
