Taking on trust that he will handle the ground, Kuwait Direction looks the horse to beat in this conditions race and should get his head in front for the first time at the fourth attempt. The son of Kodiac is clearly well regarded at home (sent off 13-8 favourite on debut and ran in a Group 2 on third start) and was only beaten four and a half lengths behind Arizona in the Coventry when last seen on the track. It is slightly concerning he hasn't been seen since then, but Richard Hannon's rarely lack for fitness and a replica of that effort, or when second in a novice race on his previous outing, should suffice.
