The Punt Daily: Robbie Wilders' two horse racing tips at Lingfield on Tuesday

GOOD THING

Alba Rose (2.15 Lingfield)

Half-sister to Subjectivist and Sir Ron Priestley who seems to be gradually building up to a big performance after returning from a 173-day break in October. Was poorly positioned in a 1m1½f handicap at Wolverhampton last time and did remarkably well to finish within a length of the winner considering how much ground she squandered throughout. Remains on the same mark of 91 and it would be no surprise were this filly, who finished third in a Group 2 as a two-year-old last September, to prove better than a handicapper.

EYECATCHER

Rovaniemi (1.45 Lingfield)

A frustrating type but certainly well handicapped off 75 and seemed to be revitalised for the switch to Ed Walker. He slightly lost his way for David Simcock and produced a much stronger finishing effort over 7f at Kempton last time. Drops to 6f but has form over the minimum trip and his course record at Lingfield is encouraging. He has form figures of 12 at the track and the booking of Hollie Doyle suggests connections mean business.
