The Punt Daily: Robbie Wilders' two each-way plays at Aintree on Friday

EACH-WAY PLAY

Politesse(1.45 Aintree)

This mare runs for the first time since October but has an excellent record fresh. Her three runs over hurdles and bumpers following breaks of 154 days or more have yielded a second in a Grade 2 bumper, a three-length third to Skyace in a Grade 3 and a fourth to Stormy Ireland in a Grade 1 at Punchestown. Conor Orr wasn't able to claim his 3lb allowance in that race and this is the first time she has run over hurdles since. Politesse seems to come alive in the spring and her trainer, Lorna Fowler, has fared well in her three British raids without yet breaking her duck. This lightly raced eight-year-old looks a little underestimated in the betting on her handicap debut in the 2m4f contest.

EACH-WAY PLAY

Crystal Glory (4.40 Aintree)

Four places are available for each-way betting in the Sefton Novices' Hurdle and Crystal Glory looks the one to side with. The Nicky Richards-trained six-year-old may have been put in his place by Hillcrest at Haydock last time but that was a monstrous display from the winner, whose subsequent short-priced defeat at the Cheltenham Festival is forgiven as he simply wasn't right there. There was 41 lengths back to the third in that Grade 2 and although this is a step up in class for Crystal Glory, none of these rivals have come remotely close to winning a Grade 1 either and this likable, consistent type can improve again for his second try at 3m½f.
