The Punt Daily: Robbie Wilders' horseracing tips at Leopardstown on Sunday

BANKER

Party Central (12.45 Leopardstown)

The Paddy Mullins Mares’ Handicap Hurdle presents a golden opportunity for Party Central, the only Gordon Elliott-trained horse to be priced up for the Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival next month. Party Central proved disappointing when sent off an 11-10 shot for a mares’ Grade 3 at Down Royal two starts back but duly made amends with a Listed strike at Punchestown last time (RPR of 129). She ran a corker at this meeting last year when second to the smart Grangee in the mares’ Grade 2 bumper and it doesn’t take a genius to work out she could be chucked in off an opening mark of 121.

GOOD THING

Greaneteen (1.50 Leopardstown)

After a poor display at Sandown in December and an injury over Christmas, ten-year-old Chacun Pour Soi is not an odds-on shot to trust in the Dublin Chase. Paul Nicholls has won with his last three runners in Ireland and I’m confident more big-race success awaits with Greaneteen. The eight-year-old always runs his race and while he was put in his place by Shishkin in the Desert Orchid last time, he faces nothing of that calibre here. This slightly underrated runner has upwards of 6lb in hand from all other opponents and can add a third Grade 1 to his CV.
