The Punt Daily: Robbie Wilders' horse racing tip at Leicester on Wednesday

GOOD THING

Ladykiller (2.50 Leicester)

David Pipe-trained six-year-old who boasted high-class form on the Flat in Germany and was sent off at just 8-1 for the Group 1 Grosser Preis von Bayern in 2019. He hasn't fared badly in three starts for Pipe, particularly in two hurdles starts. You can draw a line through his run off 103 in a Glorious Goodwood Flat handicap and if judged purely on his third over hurdles at Newbury last time his opening mark of 109 looks decent. He had no chance behind winner Peking Rose (shortish price ante-post for a Grade 2 last weekend) and third Hardi Du Mesnil (entered for the Contenders Hurdle this weekend) but still to his credit finished 13 lengths clear of the fourth. It would be a surprise if there wasn't more to come from Ladykiller in this discipline and he can land this 1m7½f handicap hurdle.
