The Punt Daily: Robbie Wilders' free horse racing tip on Wednesday evening
BANKER
Jassaar (7.15 Naas)
The Jim Bolger-trained Smash Williams sets the standard in the 7f Naas race but has only scored once in his last 26 starts, making him vulnerable to an improver. Jassaar is rated 5lb lower than Smash Williams and races off level weights but might have enough in the tank to progress past the experienced seven-year-old. The son of Dansili caught the eye travelling best in an ultra-competitive Premier Handicap at Cork on his seasonal return before not quite seeing out the mile trip and fading into sixth off a mark of 98. Dropping back in distance appears logical and I wouldn’t be surprised to see this lightly raced five-year-old mixing it in Pattern company for his shrewd trainer Dermot Weld later in the campaign.
