Quick Grabim (2.05 Warwick)

A tight three-runner novice chase with ready preference for Quick Grabim, who has improved with each run since joining Fergal O'Brien after leaving Willie Mullins. For a long way he looked like scoring on his chasing debut at Uttoxeter before Fusil Raffles outstayed him up the straight, but it was an encouraging run nonetheless. He had Gumball well beaten in third and that rival might have won a Grade 2 at Cheltenham last weekend but for falling at the second-last. Crucially he is the only runner in this field with the benefit of a run over fences. He was comfortably the best of these over hurdles and quotes of odds-against look generous.
