Thursday's 2m handicap chase at Thurles looks a good opportunity for this in-form mare to deservedly double her tally under rules after a near-miss at Fairyhouse 12 days ago. Bidding to go one better than her previous Clonmel second, she raced too enthusiastically last time and travelled as well as anything else deep into the contest. However, the now 111-rated performer was possibly delivered a little too late and came home well for second in the closing stages. Dropping in class now with a hood fitted for the first time, she can make amends as connections utilise Jack Foley's 5lb claim to offset a 2lb rise for her latest effort. Despite a slight concern over the fact she's traded at 1.81 and 2.06 in-running before being beaten the last twice, she should be good enough to get the job done here.
