The Punt Daily: Mark Boylan's free horse racing tip at Punchestown on Tuesday
FESTIVAL FANCY
Ardla (4.50 Punchestown)
Mick Halford is better known for saddling runners at major Flat festivals as opposed to the jumps finale at Punchestown, but he looks to have a live chance of registering a valuable handicap hurdle winner in the shape of Ardla on Tuesday. Nestled towards the bottom of the weights, this unexposed course bumper winner could be well handicapped off a mark of 125. He's at his best on a sound surface, has shaped well in some decent company over hurdles this term and was beaten just two and a half lengths by Martin Pipe winner Banbridge when last seen at Navan in January. He should be bang there if his lack of experience in big-field handicaps doesn't count against him.
