May have only won two ordinary novice hurdles last season but he did so in mighty style and gets in here off 133. I’d be very surprised if he didn’t prove much better than that mark and his trainer Kim Bailey has saddled two winners from his last four runners, so clearly has his horses in top condition. The ground, trip and track should suit and I like the fact he wasn’t over-raced as a young horse. Unfortunately the market hasn’t missed him, but he has all the attributes of a future top-notcher and can gain a first big win here.
