The Punt Daily: Maddy Playle with three to follow on Monday

GOOD THING

On The Quiet (12.50 Chepstow)

Caught the eye on seasonal debut at Bangor, running on under hand riding to be a third to the 126-rated Legends Gold. Just a five-year-old, she confirmed the impression she had more to offer when a close second at Ffos Las in November. Jockey Isabel Williams once again takes 7lb off the mare's back and she has a 20 per cent strike-rate at the track.

EACH-WAY PLAY

Tanrudy (2.25 Chepstow)

Ran a cracking race over an inadequate trip at Fontwell last time, staying on nicely over 2m2f to finish third a progressive horse in Flaminger. His Market Rasen win from the start of the season has worked out well with the second Pinch Of Ginger winning twice since, the first of which he was awarded after interference. This step up to 2m7½f should play to Tanrudy's strengths and I expect him to go close.

BANKER

Duc Kauto (3.30 Chepstow)

Hasn't been straightforward but has managed to string two good runs together for the first time this season. The second and third behind him at Wincanton in November have both won impressively since and he didn't disgrace himself when second at the track last month. He still has potential off a mark of 101 and the step back down to 2m should suit him as he isn't short of pace. Robbie Power is riding exceptionally well and he can fill him full of confidence in order to beat a host of out-of-form rivals.
