The Punt Acca: Robbie Wilders' three horse racing tips on Thursday

Fast Buck(12.55 Wincanton)

There is a seriously well-handicapped horse in the 1m7½f handicap chase and that is Fast Buck, who was rated 142 at the beginning of last season but has dropped 15lb to 127. That suggests the ability is waning but he still ran to RPRs of 134, 137 and 133 on his final three starts last campaign, and this is a more realistic task than the Listed hurdle in which he finished well beaten behind Sceau Royal at Kempton on his return last month.

Ballyshannon Rose (2.23 Clonmel)

The mares' Listed race at Clonmel sees the return of Elimay and Scarlet And Dove but I like the lower-rated Ballyshannon Rose, who has a fitness edge after running a three-length second to French Dynamite in a hurdle race at Thurles last month. French Dynamite franked that form by almost landing the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham last weekend and this unexposed chaser might catch out a couple of the better-fancied runners.

Tornado Flyer (2.53 Clonmel)

Paul Townend rides Blue Lord over stablemate Tornado Flyer in the Clonmel Oil Chase, but the latter is the one to beat. Danny Mullins virtually always rides Tornado Flyer and continues the association, with the pair’s finest hour coming in last season’s King George with a nine-length victory over Clan Des Obeaux. Two and a half miles on testing ground is perfect for Tornado Flyer on his return and the fact he stays further is a plus in the conditions.
