The Group 3 September Stakes at Kempton tends to punch above its weight and in Dubai Honour we have a proper Group 1 horse heading the betting. While he has lost on his last five starts, it is difficult to find many chinks in his armour given he has recorded Racing Post Ratings of 120 and 119 on his last two runs and receives weight from his core market rivals here. It would be a shock if he didn't win this en route to bigger autumn targets.

First View (2.40 Kempton)

This five-year-old is entered in the Cambridgeshire later this month and might need to incur a penalty by landing this mile handicap to get into the race. He has a fairly similar profile to Bedouin's Story, who landed the major autumn prize last season for the Saeed Bin Suroor stable. The two-time course-and-distance winner failed to stay 1m2½f when seventh in the John Smith's Cup at York last time, and better is anticipated in a weaker race back down to a mile with useful 5lb claimer Christian Howarth regaining the ride.
