Moon King(2.50 Huntingdon)

A consistent performer over hurdles last winter, Moon King relished a return to obstacles at Worcester in August, producing a gutsy effort to score. He is now 4lb higher, but he is able to drop in grade despite that success and remains well-treated on his Flat form. Lilly Pinchin claims 3lb and Charlie Longsdon is enjoying a very productive recent spell.

Just Fine(3.10 Leicester)

Placed in a pair of valuable York handicaps in the summer, including a close sixth in the John Smith's Cup, Just Fine should be very tough to beat off this mark. The last time he contested Class 3 company, he was a winner at Sandown off 2lb lower, and his York runs came off 6lb higher than his current rating. Ryan Moore retains the ride and at this level, there is plenty to like.

A Mere Bagatelle(3.25 Huntingdon)

He does not have the strongest of strike-rates, but A Mere Bagatelle gained his sole win on British shores and is fitted with cheekpieces for the first time here. Sean Bowen's presence on the five-year-old is also interesting and this is just his third chasing start. Further improvement is more than plausible and this might be the right time to step up in distance.
