Dr Zempf (2.10 Curragh)

Finished second at Group 1 level as a juvenile and has won two of his three starts this season, posting a career-best RPR when easily winning a Leopardstown Group 3 last month. That run suggested he was still progressing and he gets plenty of weight against older rivals on this step up in grade. Ground conditions should prove ideal for him and he should have too much pace for this field.

Ha Ha Ha (3.20 Curragh)

Made it third-time lucky with a comfortable success at Listowel and gave the impression that she was a well-handicapped horse when making all the running at Leopardstown on handicap debut. She is now 7lb higher, but this £400,000 purchase is clearly progressive and should have plenty of further improvement left in the tank on just her fifth career start.

Encourageable (3.50 Redcar)

Only found the Group 1-placed Maljoom too strong on debut and it was no surprise to see him go one place better on his next start at Wolverhampton. He was disappointing in a Listed race at Sandown last time, but he may of found that coming too soon and an opening handicap mark of 86 looks thoroughly achievable. He remains promising and should have too much potential for this field.
