The Punt Acca: Mark Boylan's horse racing tips on Thursday
Santonito (12.05 Clonmel)
It seems Gordon Elliott can do little wrong at present and Santonito can keep the ball rolling for the Cullentra team in the opening 2m3f amateur riders' maiden hurdle at Clonmel. Runner-up to the promising Hiddenvalley Lake at Naas last month, he should be well suited by this sort of test and the application of cheekpieces for the first time looks a good move on the basis of his latest showing.
Womalko (2.45 Clonmel)
It isn't ideal running from 1lb out of the handicap but Womalko rates the one to beat in this 2m2f novice handicap chase, carrying just 10st in a six-runner affair. There were positives to be taken from his first start since joining Gordon Elliott from Robert Tyner here last month, and that experience should stand to him as he makes just a fourth appearance over fences.
