The Punt Acca: Liam Headd's three horse racing tips at Lingfield on Wednesday

Free Solo (1.15 Lingfield)

After a difficult 2022, Jamie Osborne made a lightning start to the new year with five winners last week. Free Solo provided him with one of those and was unlucky not to add another when second to Poetic Force over course-and-distance on Saturday. The six-year-old's record around Lingfield reads 112 and he's running off the same mark as his last run, so he should be in with a huge change again.

Capital Theory (2.15 Lingfield)

Charlie Johnston has made a solid start since taking full control of the training licence and Capital Theory can continue that form here. The four-year-old completed a hat-trick at Wolverhampton in December, which came after a course success, and now he chases a four-timer. It's a step up in trip to 1m4f and in class for the son of Muhaarar, but he's progressed in his last few runs and Franny Norton is a significant jockey booking for the contest.

Man On A Mission (2.45 Lingfield)

Luke Morris is currently operating at a 16 per cent strike-rate and he goes in search of a hat-trick with Man On A Mission. The five-year-old landed a course-and-distance victory last week when carrying a 5lb penalty, showing his powerful speed when his jockey asked him to. He has three wins from six starts on the all-weather at Lingfield and he should be well equipped to see off the opposition.
