The Punt Acca: James Stevens' free horseracing tips on Monday
Banned (1.45 Wolverhampton)
Second behind a useful horse at Ffos Las on first try at this distance when softer ground may not have been ideal. Interesting now tried on the all-weather, has some solid form in good maidens and should prove better than opening mark of 76.
Royal Heart (3.15 Wolverhampton)
Well handicapped on best form and switch back to seven furlongs looks the right move. Won over this distance off 4lb higher – although just 1lb if you include the claim – but has been running well and could be overpriced.
Gaius (7.05 Windsor)
Consistent performer who may have finally found an opportunity to get off the mark at the tenth attempt. Only up 2lb after a narrow defeat last time and looks poised to go one better.
