Shahnaz (1.50 Musselburgh)

This in-form filly posted a clear best on Racing Post Ratings when an easy winner at Hamilton four days ago and can gain a third victory in four starts. Despite a quick turnaround, she should take plenty of beating for Gemma Tutty if able to run to a similar level at a track that should suit.

Bellevue Lad (3.35 Musselburgh)

This classified stakes will not take much winning and Bellevue Lad, the sole course-and-distance winner in the field, has solid claims. He has form figures of 135 at this track and has not been beaten far elsewhere recently, including when fifth in first-time cheekpieces at Catterick last time. This is the weakest race he has contested this year and a return to Musselburgh could bring a second career win.

Star Of Lady M (4.10 Musselburgh)

Star Of Lady M was a no show in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot but won three of her first four starts and is fancied to bounce back in this nursery. She beat some fair fillies in the Hilary Needler at Beverley on quick ground in May and a run close to that level of form would be good enough here.
