Doctor Bravo (12.40 Down Royal)

Had three subsequent winners behind him when making a winning debut in a Fairyhouse bumper in December and made a promising start over hurdles last time when second to the unbeaten Dark Raven. The front two pulled a long way clear of the rest on that occasion at Leopardstown and Doctor Bravo should go one better here in what looks a weaker looking maiden event.

Limerick Lace (2.25 Down Royal)

Ran some solid races over hurdles including when second to subsequent Grade 1 winner Brandy Love in December 2021 and has not been disgraced on her first two goes over fences. Gavin Cromwell's mare was just two lengths behind the 136-rated chaser Colonel Mustard at Navan in November and posted another solid effort when second at Limerick last time. The six-year-old should have the class to give weight and a beating to the boys.

Ballykeel (3.35 Down Royal)

Third on his last two starts in beginners chases won by the Cheltenham Festival-bound Willie Mullins pair of Ramillies and James Du Berlais. Set a more realistic task here in his first handicap over fences and the Gordon Elliot-trained seven-year-old can make his presence felt off an opening mark of 122. Corey McGivern takes 7lb off the son of Presenting who should go close back up in trip.
