The Evening Punt: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Thursday
BANKER
George Scott's scopey Noble Mission filly is set for a cracking few months at Kempton based on her last two victories and will surely take this prize before looking ahead to her four-timer bid. The three-year-old has won decisively on the last two occasions, swooping wide from off the pace to win going away at the line, and this is arguably the weakest contest she's run in this winter. She won't be much of a price but looks a cast-iron banker off just 6lb higher barring accidents.
GOOD THING
Ex-Dermot Weld-trained runner who was sold to new connections for 21,000gns in October last year and made a winning start over this course and distance at the start of November. He was well punted on that occasion and won with plenty in hand, finishing four-and-a-half-lengths clear of the runner-up, recording an RPR of 85 in the process. He's gone up 10lb for that victory but is still rated just 75 and you'd expect him to still be chucked in off this mark. Paul Mulrennan will probably keep him out wide and out of the kickback from stall 12.
