If you backed all of Karl Burke's runners at Newcastle in the last five years you would have accumulated a profit of +£40.45 for £1 level stakes, and that statistic can get even better if Dancing Leopard produces her A game. The daughter of Fulbright has gone close on her last two outings when third at Southwell then here and she remains off the same mark of 63. The step up in trip is exactly what she needs based on her finishing effort over six furlongs last time and although her draw isn't great, I fancy her to get off the mark.

DARK HORSE

Auckland Lodge(5.45 Newcastle)

Another profitable trainer at the track is Ben Haslam and his Auckland Lodge is in red-hot form at the moment with three victories from her last five races. All of those scores have come at Catterick, which is a completely different track to here, but she could be open to further improvement now switched to the all-weather and I doubt a 5lb penalty will stop her, albeit this is a much tougher race than last time.
