I was at the track that day and there were quiet whispers on course for the daughter of War Command, who was backed from 150-1 into 20s. She ran with plenty of promise, staying on powerfully from the back of the field to take second behind an Archie Watson-trained favourite who had previous experience. She should have improved since that effort and anything bar a win tonight would be disappointing.
