The Evening Punt: Tom Collins' free horse racing tip on Tuesday
BANKER
John Gosden, who is 42-122 (34 per cent, +£44.78 to £1 level stakes) with three-year-olds at Kempton in the last five years, doesn't often go down the all-age handicap route with his younger horses so it's interesting to see that he has chosen to enter Arabist, a last-time-out novice winner who steps into this sphere for the first time, entered in the staying handicap this evening. A best-priced 9-4 shot at the time of writing, Arabist looks a surefire improver now he has got his head in front and moves to the all-weather. I'm not convinced the soft ground has suited him on his last two outings but he still produced a couple of nice performances, and he is surely well treated off an opening mark of 81 against some exposed rivals.
