The Evening Punt: Tom Collins' free horse racing tip on Thursday

Kodi Koh (6.30 Chelmsford)

Tricky five-year-old mare who is always there or thereabouts but has struggled to get her head in front, recording just one win from 25 starts. Often races keenly and held up out the back, Kodi Koh has really caught the eye off this mark of 46 the last twice, most notably when taking fifth at Newcastle last time when sent off favourite. She was given a questionable ride that day by Andrew Mullen, who switched her multiple times before finding trouble and then not asking for everything, ending up in her beaten just three and a quarter lengths. Chelmsford may suit her better (going round a turn), she has a good draw in stall two and there looks like being some early pace on with Nicky Baby in the field among others. Hopefully she can score for the second time.
