Son of Speightstown who cost a whopping 525,000gns at Tattersalls yearling sale back in 2016 but has clearly not progressed as planned as his record reads 0-15. Sold by Shadwell and John Gosden in the summer of 2018, Elhafei joined Mick Appleby for just 20,000gns and went close on a few occasions last year, just finding one or two too good. His mark has dropped to a lowly 62 on the all-weather after a disappointing return to action at Lingfield earlier this month, but he will have progressed from that and this looks a good opportunity to get off the mark.
