Trainer Mark Casse has a good record in the Grade 1 Alcibiades Stakes with three victories in recent years and holds all the aces once more with his four-raced filly Perfect Alibi. One of just two Stakes winners in the line-up, Perfect Alibi has won three of four starts and done so impressively, including when riding the rail to come from sixth to win the Spinaway Stakes when last seen. She steps up in trip to 1m½f from 7f today, but she should stay on pedigree and her racing style looks ideal for the trip. Jose Ortiz, who does well at Keeneland, is aboard and she is the formsetter in what looks a thrilling contest.
