It was no surprise to see King Power swoop for this son of Zoffany, who shaped with huge promise on his debut when fourth to subsequent 2,000 Guineas winner Poetic Flare last month. Sent off a 150-1 shot in Listed company, Notre Belle Bete did remarkably well to finish as close as he did coming from way off the pace against much more experienced rivals. There could be any amount of improvement to come and he must have every chance if building on that.
