The Evening Punt: Owen Goulding's Monday horse racing tip from Windsor
BANKER
Darlectable You(6.55 Windsor)
A full-sister to Group 1 winner Too Darn Hot, So Mi Dar and Lah Ti Dar, Darlectable You is exceptionally well-bred and it would be massively disappointing if she was unable to defy a mark of 80 on her handicap debut.
She showed ability in all three of her opening runs, beaten just a neck by subsequent Listed winner Aristia at Newbury on her second start, and she found 1m3½f a bit too far when last seen in a Chester Listed race in May 2021.
The absence is a small concern, but if she runs to the level of her Newbury form this opening mark of 80 will not stop her from shedding her maiden tag back over 1m2f.
