There was plenty of promise in Frankincence's recent third-place finish on quick ground at Exeter. He would have gone close if he had jumped the final hurdle smoothly but it was an encouraging effort and the form of that race looks decent. Second-place Singapore Saga went one better yesterday when winning by ten lengths and beating Midnight Aurora, who was sixth at Exeter. The handicapper raised Frankincense 2lb for that effort while, as a son of Galileo, the quicker ground is a big bonus. Although his best form is at Exeter, going left-handed should not prove too much of a problem.
