Don Cossack, Valseur Lido, Brave Inca, Hurricane Fly, Jezki and Nichols Canyon are just some of the names who have won at today’s Fairyhouse meeting over the years and I wouldn’t rule out seeing a future Champion Hurdle or Gold Cup winner in action again this afternoon.

Star name on the card is Vroum Vroum Mag, who is unbeaten in ten starts for Willie Mullins over hurdles and fences and over a variety of trips and ended last season winning the Grade 1 Punchestown Champion Hurdle over two miles.

She is clearly very good but on actual form is much too short a price to win the Bar One Racing Hatton’s Grace Hurdle (1.40). That Punchestown race probably didn’t take much winning and she will have to be at least as good, if not better, than she was on that occasion to win on her reappearance – especially as she would ideally want softer ground.
