Sweetspots: Vocalist can hit all the right notes at Fontwell

Nicky Henderson is 2-3 with hurdling debutants at Fontwell. Vocalist, who goes in the 1.45, was an impressive winner last time out in a bumper and can go well on her first start for the stable.

Neil Mulholland has a very impressive 35 per cent strike-rate at Southwell. He sends just one runner to the track, Sleep Easy (2.00). He is now 4lb below his last winning mark on the Flat and can go well at a track where he has won before.

David Maxwell has an impressive record when riding at Fontwell (3-5). He rides Mendip Express, a course-and-distance winner, in the 2.15. The 11-year-old has run very well in some competitive hunter chases on his last three outings and has gone well fresh in the past.
