Real Warrior (12.35 Doncaster) is an interesting runner on his handicap debut for Charles Pogson. The trainer is 2-6 with such runners for a healthy level-stakes profit, so expect an improved display.

Colin Tizzard and Harry Cobden are a combination to follow at Newbury (44 per cent strike-rate). The pair can improve their record with Jaytrack Parkhomes in the maiden hurdle (12.10), whose recent bumper effort looks good.
