Sweetspots: Nicholls to strike at Stratford with Braqueur

Paul Nicholls sends just one runner to Stratford with Braqueur D’Or contesting the 2m6½f handicap chase for novices (8.20). Sam Twiston-Davies, who operates at a 29 per cent strike-rate at the track when combining with Nicholls, is on board.

Sylvester Kirk and Mitch Godwin operate at a 27 per cent strike-rate when teaming up at Brighton. Fair Power is their only runner and goes in the 1m2f handicap (4.15). He won on his only start at the track and the step up in distance could spark further improvement.

Eddy Greatex rode a hat-trick at Lingfield on Saturday evening and takes the ride on Fantasy Queen in the 1m handicap at Chepstow (7.40). The filly has won three of her four starts at the track and Greatrex’s 3lb claim negates her increase in the weights for her recent course and distance victory.
