Sweetspots: Mulholland's Murphy can make trip worthwhile
Ed Walker has his string in fine form and turns out Big Bad Lol (Chelmsford, 8.15) quickly having scored at Wolverhampton three days ago. He won with plenty in hand on Tuesday and is starting to show his ability.
Neil Mulholland is a trainer to note when he has runners at Sedgefield – he has a 49 per cent strike-rate at the course. He has just the one runner there today, Monsieur Murphy (12.40), who should be taken seriously considering the 274-mile trip he has to make.

Paul Nicholls has a 35 per cent strike-rate when equipping his horses with first-time blinkers. Ataguiseamix gets the aid in the 1.00 at Exeter, he is having his first run over hurdles and is highly regarded coming from the point-to-point scene.
