Sweetspots: More Haydock success on the cards for Kingscote
Bell Heather is 3-8 at Wolverhampton, including a victory in a division of this (5.45) last year. With regular pilot Connor Murtagh able to ride in this apprentice race, she looks sure to go well.
Richard Kingscote has a 44 per cent strike-rate when riding for Mark Johnston at Haydock. Elegiac (1.50) has winning form on soft ground and should not be underestimated.
The 5.25 at Haydock is a decent prize and looks well worth targeting. Empress Ali has been third and second in the last two years and the rain is very much in her favour.
